    Maine Baskets provides gift basket delivery to recipients in Maine where delivery is available. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s address within our service area.

    We prepare and coordinate orders based on the recipient address, product eligibility, delivery requirements, delivery availability, and routing. Available delivery information and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout.

    Maine Baskets does not provide delivery to recipients outside Maine through this website. Customers may place orders from outside Maine, but delivery through this website is for recipients located in Maine only.

    Order Processing

    Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, message update, delivery update, or cancellation should contact customer service as early as possible.

    Once preparation, fulfillment, substitution review, routing, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

    Delivery Timing

    Maine Baskets offers next-day delivery to recipients in Maine where available. Delivery availability and available dates are confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s location.

    Same-day delivery is not offered unless expressly stated otherwise on the website for a specific product, date, or location.

    Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times. Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, road conditions, rural access limitations, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, courier performance, delivery partner capacity, and operational conditions.

    Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries typically occur during standard business hours where possible.

    Delivery Fees

    Orders over $100 may qualify for free delivery where indicated on the website. Free delivery eligibility may depend on order subtotal, delivery location, product type, promotion rules, or other conditions shown during checkout.

    Delivery Completion

    Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to product type, delivery location, alcohol content, age verification, building policy, courier procedure, or applicable delivery rules.

    Orders may be left in a safe location or delivered to a recipient, building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, office, nursing station, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

    Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, facility representative, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

    Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

    Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, schools, care facilities, gated communities, and managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, nursing station, receiving area, or another building-approved receiving point.

    Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, recipient phone number, building instructions, access codes where permitted, and any other information needed for delivery.

    Maine Baskets is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, internal routing delays, misplaced packages, refusal, or recipient notification issues caused by building policies, facility procedures, restricted access, or managed-property handling after delivery has been accepted by an authorized receiving location.

    Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

    Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate Maine delivery address at the time an order is placed.

    • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before preparation, fulfillment, routing, or delivery coordination begins.
    • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, or undeliverable.

    • Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.
    • Orders containing alcohol or restricted items may not be eligible for re-delivery if age verification, adult signature, or delivery requirements cannot be satisfied.

    Perishable and Time-Sensitive Products

    Some products may include perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing, product condition, and recipient experience in mind.

    If a perishable component is unavailable or not suitable for delivery conditions, it may be replaced with an appropriate non-perishable or more stable alternative at our discretion to protect quality, presentation, and successful delivery.

    Maine Baskets is not responsible for product quality issues caused by recipient unavailability, delayed retrieval after delivery, incorrect address information, weather exposure after delivery, building restrictions, or delivery instructions that prevent timely receipt of perishable items.

    Substitutions

    Because some items are seasonal, perishable, or subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary. When substitutions are made, Maine Baskets aims to maintain the overall value, theme, intent, and presentation of the order.

    Substitutions may include similar products, comparable brands, alternate flavors, different packaging, shelf-stable alternatives, or other appropriate items. Due to product availability, delivery timing, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

    Alcohol and Regulated Products

Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, or local delivery requirements may not be eligible for refund, replacement, credit, or re-delivery.

    Maine Baskets reserves the right to refuse, cancel, modify, substitute, or restrict orders containing alcohol or regulated products if delivery requirements, product availability, recipient location, or applicable laws cannot be satisfied.
