Will they know what I paid?
No. No price, invoice or receipt travels with the basket. What arrives is the gift and the greeting message you wrote.
What happens if nobody 21+ is there for an alcohol basket?
It cannot be handed over. Photo ID and an age of 21+ are required at the door, which is why a warning to the recipient saves a wasted trip.
